The Story

I am Gustav de Necker, a professional architect with over a decade of experience in large-scale commercial, civic, and high-end residential projects across South Africa. My career has been shaped by a passion for problem-solving, strategic thinking, and delivering well-planned, high-quality built environments.

As a senior associate at Co-Arc International Architects, I gained extensive expertise in managing complex projects—from high-level coordination with professional teams to resolving intricate design, logistical, and budget challenges. My role required clear client communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to navigate evolving project dynamics with confidence.

Building on this foundation, I pursued an MBA at Henley Business School to expand my strategic and analytical capabilities. This has strengthened my ability to assess complex problems, drive creative solutions, and approach projects with a broad, long-term perspective.

With GDN Advisory, I bring together my architectural expertise, project management experience, and business acumen to provide insightful, strategic guidance. My goal is to help clients make informed property and building decisions—whether evaluating a home’s potential, planning renovations, or ensuring a project reaches a successful completion. Through thoughtful analysis, clear communication, and practical solutions, I strive to make a meaningful impact on every project I take on.
